Answer: We do not recomend transfering Digital signal (HDMI/DVI) to Analog (VGA/DVI) due the technological restrictions of Analog ports (their low data bandwidth), these adaptors might not work corectly.
Answer: Commonly no Thunderbolt 2 docking stations on the market offers this option (restrictions Thunderbolt bus / interface). Therefore, we offer i-tec USB 3.0 video adapters (with 4K or FullHD+ resolution) from our product line for possible connection of two HDMI monitors or HDMI + DisplayPort monitor to the docking station i-tec THUNDERBOLT 2 at the same time. The adapter simply plugs to one of the USB 3.0 ports of docking station. You can choose from several models, e.g. U3HDMI4K, USB3HDMI, U3DP4K or another video adapter from our offer. If you need advice or recommend the best option for you, please contact us firstname.lastname@example.org.
Question: I would like to charge Apple device (iPad, iPhone, iPod) in OS Windows over the USB 3.0 / 2.0 port. Is there any software option to solve this problem?
Answer: Standard charging is solved via the supplied AC adapter for Apple device. Nevertheless, by ASUS company was developed the „ASUS Ai Charger“ software for working and simultaneously charging of Apple device over the USB port of notebook / PC, over the plugged HUB or docking station in Windows OS. More information can be found here: http://event.asus.com/mb/2010/ai_charger/, where you can download and test the software. In spite of many positive experiences with the using of this software, we cannot guarantee 100% effectivity in all possible hardware combinations.
