i-tec USB 3.0 MySafe AluBasic is external hard disk case for all 2.5″ SATA I/II/III HDD or SSD with height up to 9.5 mm. Connecting via USB 3.0 offers easy and high-speed data transfer (up to 5 Gbps). Backward compatibility with USB 2.0 is a commonplace. Aluminium construction for excellent heat dissipation and hard drive protection. USB cable is included.

The box connects a 2.5″ HDD or SSD to any PC, laptop, TV or gaming console. The external box can also be connected to compatible mobile devices with a USB-C port by using an adapter (U31TYPEC). The box supports most operating systems, including Linux and Android.
Although the box offers a wide variety of uses and a premium design using aluminium components, it is affordable for anyone who needs to connect their internal 2.5″ drive externally.
The box is compatible with all 2.5″ HDDs and SSDs with a SATA interface and a height of up to 9.5 mm.
This external box will not leave you waiting for your data transfer. It is capable of revving your drive to up to 625 MB/s.
The HDD/SSD box requires no complicated driver installation. Just plug it in and your computer will recognise it on its own.

FAQ
Question: The frame is not detected by the operating system.
Answer: Try connecting the device to another USB/Thunderbolt port (according to the frame type)
Question: The HDD is not visible in the system.
Answer: Make sure the HDD is formatted. Especially for a brand-new drive. You will find this information in the disk manager located in the device manager. You can also format the HDD here.
Notice! The formatting function always deletes the data. Therefore, back up your data before starting the drive formatting.
